Social media is a Realtor’s best friend when it comes to finding and connecting with new clients online.

It’s no secret that home buyers and sellers start the process online. According to the National Association of Realtors (NAR) 84% of buyers and sellers use the internet to buy or sell a home. They search listings and research local real estate markets. They also research potential Realtors online so every real estate agent needs to establish an online presence and website.

To get free traffic to your blog you need to connect with potential clients on social networks like Facebook, Linked In and Twitter. Each network has millions of members and as much as 50% of your local adult population has a social network account.

Now imagine that you connect with all the home owners in your local area and can send them a message at absolutely no cost whenever you want!

Well, that’s what you can do with social networks and that’s why social media is a Realtor’s best friend.
